Resting Liliensternus

A few weeks ago a new dinosaur trackway was found, this trackways showed a Dilophosaur like theropod (I drew Liliensternus since I haven't drawn it yet) walking and then resting, with it's hands on the ground folded into the body like this drawing. Why is that interesting? Well for years paleontologists thought that theropods held their hand palms down, called the bunny position, but recently it's been though that dinosaurs couldn't flex their forearms to do this and this find proves this out. Even the very early theropods held their arms like modern birds do, palms facing inward, thus showing that we are getting some things right;)

Best,

Brett
