Question?
I've been reading a lot lately about how evil we Atheists are. So I'm kind of curious. IF you've got the guts (I will not seek revenge upon you or anything as long as you are being civil) tell my what you think about we atheists and why (the why is important.) If you have any specific questions I'll answer them as simply as possible. This is sort of a sick experiment I want to see if what I've been reading is accurate.
Best,
Brett
Also some pretty pictures for you;)

Darn Funny!
Well I told myself I wasn't going to mention religion for a bit, since I'm quite tired of being told 'God loves me' and other such non-sence (I will never believe so stop trying. Your arguments never make sense to me.) But I was reading Stupid Evil Bastard and thought this was really fun so go here!
If you can say what the funniest part is, you win a cookie (which can be found in your cupboard, convenient, huh.) If your a hard core creationist without a sense of humor you might want to skip this one.

Fun with Atheists!
Funny! Go here for a nifty comic. I just wish I had all that money and porn, I'd never leave the ranch! Once again thanks to Pharyngula for pointing this out.
For everyone who thinks I'm evil here's a dinosaur for your veiwing pleasure: It's been toned for the new book.

Love thy neighbor...unless he's played a gay guy.
Here's some of your loving Christians. Nice.....
I don't care that these are the frindge minority. You Christians need to get your act together and either distance yourselves from them or kick them to the curb, publicly.
He's evil because he played a homosexual in a movie. This is just beyond stupid.

Athiest Parents?
Go here for the story: Can Atheists be Parents?
EDIT: Apparently this took place in 1970. After a little more poking around I found that this ruling was indeed overturned (as it should have been) and the child was adopted. THis is a reminder to always check the date!
Here's a perfect example of a 'Christian Law' that got snuck in. Sounds fair to me;) I've known Christian parents, I've known Wiccan parents, Religion has no bearing on good parents. Personally, I think it should be illegal to instruct ANY child in religion. they should find their religion or atheism on their own. If religion is good, it shouldn't have any problems getting believers.
No comments on this one people, this is just info. I don't really want to have a discussion on fairness and tolerance in religion/government.
Bestest,
Brett

Well this movie finally come out today. I won't get a chance to see it since I have to work on Frankie and finish off the house but anyone who does, please let me know what the monster is. Frankenstein! Page 15
I love to yell Frankenstein in a German accent. It's just fun. My head was hurting most of today so I need to get some work done BUT Monsterquest is on at 8pm. I really enjoy this show. They use actual scientists not just cryptozooligists. Oh and for any of you Psych fans target has season 1 for $20! It's great fun!

Was I over reacting to a Christian Nation?
Was I?
This guy needs a swift kick to the head as do all who vote for him. If this guys gets elected, Mexico here we come! Either that or I'll have to get a nice high wall and a bunch of guns to keep the E.V.I.L. (Evangelical)Christians wackos out. Why are we becoming so fricken stupid?

Christian Nation?
Well the Christian Right is trying to get some resolution passed altering US History to make us look like a Christian Nation. Here are a few things some of the Founding Fathers have to say on the subject. They really sound Christian to me. These quotes were taken from some comments on Pharyngula. I've heard these before but since they were all in one place I figured I'd share.
"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution." James Madison "The Father of the Constitution"
"In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own." Thomas Jefferson
"The Christian religion is a parody on the worship of the Sun, in which they put a man whom they call Christ, in the place of the Sun, and pay him the same adoration which was originally paid to the Sun." Thomas Paine
"The clergy, by getting themselves established by law and ingrafted into the machine of government, have been a very formidable engine against the civil and religious rights of man." Thomas Jefferson
The only prominent Founder who can be accurately described as a Christian was John Adams, who, in 1797 signed the Treaty of Tripoli which states very plainly unequivocally in in Article 11 that The United States is not a Christian Nation:
"As the government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen ... it is declared ... that no pretext arising from religious opinion shall ever product an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries. ... The United States is not a Christian nation any more than it is a Jewish or a Mohammedan nation."
"I almost shudder at the thought of alluding to the most fatal example of the abuses of grief which the history of mankind has preserved -- the Cross. Consider what calamities that engine of grief has produced!" John Adams
The Christian Right is looking to basically force everyone to be Christian. Well not in my house, I won't go down without a fight!
