Bete-Noire

One of the new characters in JLA 54.  Supposed to look like a scary yeti;)

Best,

Brett

This Sunday: Losing My Religion... Gregorian style!

Found over on Dynamics of Cats! I actually can't stand the original song, not because of the subject matter, I just don't like it. Not an R.E.M. fan but I do like some of thems's songs.

I did have something I wanted to write about but for the life of me I can't remember! I got the swine flu... or maybe the Dengue fever... OK, it's just a cold but I feel like crap. If I think of it later I'll post it.

Best,

Brett

I won't post the unfinished colored version since Andrew isn't happy with it. We got a bit sidetracked with 55 and everyone sort of forgot about solicitations, but don't worry it's being inked and will soon look quite neato;) Shouldn't happen with 58 a I'm going to be working on that one tomorrow.

Best,

Brett

I can't hear you this Sunday, my ears are bleeding!

This has been all over so I'll keep the chain of insanity going:

This is how I know there is no God. If he actually existed these people would have been smitted (smitetten?) when they were making this horrible, horrible video. It's not the lyrics, bad as Christian rock is, its the singing! I managed to get through the whole thing, but Jess had to stop after the first chorus. And before Steve get's all pissy about the Christian rock crack... I'm sorry they are almost universally bad, BUT I do like Love Thy Will Be Done by Martika, beautiful song.

More art this week as my first JLA issue ships and the cover to 57 will be released... I think.

Best!

Is it possible to get something from nothing? This Sunday it is!

So one of the things I keep hearing over and over again is this something from nothing (I'm fairly sure that this pertains to life but be bear with me.) It turns out on a quantum level the universe creates something from nothing all the time and it's been tested and proven. Really interesting stuff go here for the details!

Also a new orbiting telescope has found a ton of planets outside our solar system. Not really Sunday material, but really friggin' cool! If a third of the 200 million stars in our galaxy have planets (that makes 66 million stars with planets by the way) and 6% of those are the right size and in the right place for liquid water. Then that makes 3,960,000 planets with the possibility to support life... Makes you wonder why this wasn't mentioned in the Bible,  only the stars already known and some constellations, nothing about other planets or those dreaded aliens;)

Detailed Layouts

A few months ago I was asked by my buddies at SeaLion to do a few pages of detailed layouts to help out. This is the result.

It was pointed out to me that I haven't posted any new art. Well I've only had time to do JLA and that Green Lantern cover and I can't post that yet;)

Anywho, I'm on to the big push to get 55 done so I'll be fairly busy these next 10 days. But I do have some more of these so if I go quiet just remind me to post more;)

Best!
