This Sketch Saturday, it's Grifter time!

20 years ago this past week I received a call from Jim Lee in regards to my Homage Studios Talent Search submission. It went pretty well as I started working there a few months later. So in honor of the HSTS that was in the back of WildCats 2 I drew up an old buddy, Cole Cash, AKA Grifter.

On another note I finished up my Teen Titans runs today, just finished drawing the last page (not page 20, but the last pages that needed to be drawn.) Later today or early tomorrow I start on my next DC book. A happy sad kind of day.

Anywho, more info when I can finally talk about it!

I've been a bit busy these last few weeks, things are afoot at DC with this Joker thing. I've started on TT 15 (which is part of the whole Joker story.) So I'm deeply immersed in Gotham City right now:)

Anyways this was this weeks Sketch Saturday, Earth 2 Robin!

This was last weeks SS, Earth 2 Batman!

And this was me messing around! It's the Blue Falcon and Dyno Mutt. Blue Falcon was one of my favorite cartoon characters as a child, along with Space Ghost!

Also, I did a 4 page backup for Red Hood 0, so don't forget to pick that up! It's Jokerific!

I have a few comments I need to read as well, just so busy!

Another Sketch Dump!

Another version of Grundy, a bit more traditional.

Quick sketch of Cassie's armor and 2 that Scott rejected. He wanted the Armor to be painful looking. I think I pulled back on some of this.. it turned out to be too confusing.

Much more streamlined version... FAR easier to draw!

First attempt. Honestly I'm still not sure if this is supposed to be Greek or not.

Yes Nightwing again, I was going to do Cass Cain but I didn't have any comic with her in them, so I just picked the first comic I had and it was Nightwing. I did unintentionally smash a bug on this, I worked it into the gargoyle thing... But sill...
