Funny Cartoon on Religion

Well, more like amusing. The big picture is pretty heavy handed but the little things are funny.

I hurt my wrist from sleeping on it wrong (I just figured it out!) so typing hurts.

More sketches and commissions soon. Like later today when I scan them.

Wonder Woman and Batman

I've been trying to get into gear and get these commissions done. But I was having problems getting back into the superhero mind frame so I decided to do a few sketches first so as not to screw up anyone's stuff.

Not sold on this version of WW's outfit. I thought it would be cool but I think it's a bit too complicated, all of it in the middle.

I purposely didn't go the Jim Lee route on Bats. While I'm a fan of Jim's work I think his Batman while really cool was a bit too bulky for me. So I slimmed him up a bit. Looking at it now, I think his head might be too big (I just fixed it but if it's still too big let me know)... but it was a quick sketch (about an hour) and the first time I've draw Batman (except for the Micheal Keaton one from the first Movie) since Highschool.

Some Guilty Pleasures Covers

Anita Blake, animator

Jean-Claude, Master Vampire

Oh Snap!

This is a video of congressman Barney Frank at a town hall meeting. I laughed my ass off!

I haven't commented on the 'Death Panel' nonsense because anyone with a half a brain should be able to figure out that having an optional discussion about what you want done at the end of your life (a DNR, no feeding tubes, no respirators, ect.) has absolutely nothing to do with 'Death Panels' and Nazis. Trying to make sure everyone can get help if they need it is the complete opposite of that. Perhapse if these people got off their asses and read the actual bill (but Brett it's over 1,000 pages!) instead of listening to O'Riely or those other idiots at Fox News, maybe this would get passed and the 40 million people in the US who need health insurance can actually get it. Us being 2 of them.

Taboo in velvet

This was done for the Wildstorm pic of the week back in 2001. They didn't use the color one because Jess colored it.

Backlash cover gallery

I keep getting asked for older stuff. I simply don't keep it around or on disks. But I was looking for some old Backlash stuff on the web and found this Backlash cover gallery.

This one was a favorite of mine, it's missing the back half but I've not seen that online.

Primal Instinct Cover

Andrew Dalhouse found this and sent it over. Old, old work, look at the froot-loopy colors.

Funny Bible Stuff

That was a clip worthy of Jehovah! The agnostics bit was really funny.
