Happy Darwin Day!

Today is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, and the 150th anniversary of the release of his book 'On the Origin of Species.' There are a bunch of events going on all over the world, even at churches (despite that most people think, a lot of religious people believe in both the bible AND evolution.) So raise your glass to honor a great mind from days past!

I can't remember what this guy is called, but it's a recent find of a giant (23 feet) 'raptor' from South America. Note the tiny arms and long head.

Best,

Brett

I think you refer to Austroraptor cabazai (It looks like it, anyway)

Tremendous work, as always!

Your drawing reinforces the idea of the tiny arms of the beast, as well as its long snout!!!!!!!

Thanks Ezequiel! That's the one! I actually don't really like this drawing, it's not right. I have yet to find a satisfactory way to draw raptors. There's something off that I can't quite wrap my head around. I'll have to try this guy again at some point:)

It is a neat beasite!

Brett
