Nightwing Color test
As Ezequiel suggested, I added a bit of color. So does it work?
However... I think that the non-shadowed lineart fits better for painting. On the other hand, drawings made to "stay as they are", without painting, may be very upgraded with the shadows defined with the hatching.
well, that's an opinion. Still the colored Nightwing is great!!!
Looks pretty good. I'm an old fuddy duddy and I like the look of inked art. I like the linework to be blackity black black. My favorite part of the artwork is to see the individual lines. Pencils uninked are okay if they are darkened to the point of black. When pencil work is uninked it is hard to distinguish the linework from the coloring. But those are only my opinions. If I had things my way all comics would be inked and printed uncolored linework. So I know our tastes differ.
Still looks good, and whatever you are doing to put so much energy into your art keep doing it! It looks like you are having fun.

But you should keep trying both techniques!
Best wishes!
