Kid Flash 2
My second Kid Flash idea. Gold up top, red belt and shoes and black gloves and pants.
This one look kinda cool, I'd much prefer the hair, but im sure you'll be coming up with amazing stuff, so i'm trusting what you'll be doing. Just wondering Brett, will the TT have just one standard outfits or will they have several different ones?
I can go either way on the hair issue. This was to try something a bit different, make Bart seem a tad older than the 12-13 year old he keeps being made into.
Right now it's sort of in flux. Bart has a really quick home made costume for the first 3 issues, nothing fancy, just stuff he had lying around. I wanted to have Tim use both the wings and the cape, but I fear I might have sold everyone at DC on the wings. I know Scott liked the idea of different outfits so who knows:) Cassie's will be evolving as the series progresses.
Either ways I still prefer all the new costumes to the old ones, just some more than other, great job on the redesigning. Will be looking forward to TT. Hopefully the story will be as good as the art.
I've been a fan of Teen Titans since Geoff Johns's run. Kid Flash is my all-time favorite, and I'm really loving the new design for him. Can't wait to read the new series. I do think Bart's hair is a character staple, but I trust in creators more often than I don't. Very excited. - David
I like the nods to the old Impulse costume design, with the goggles. Really cool.
But I think the costume that DC and you chose to go with sort of suits Bart more. More of his own personality rather than copying something that has come before.
Dc said recently that they want to make the young heroes transition from being viewed as sidekicks and infirior superheroes. Do you see these guys losing the "kid" and "boy" titles anytime soon? As oppose to the old status quo?

I like the Wonder Girl design. It'd be nice if her costume evolved into this.
As for Bart, something just feels wrong not seeing his hair.

hbkb9,
Maybe, one never knows:)
David,
Yeah, everyone at DC except Jim and I agree with you so we went with hair. Of course Bart has a completely different costume for the first 3 issues..
M.O.R.
Yeah this one is a bit more Wally than Bart:)
Best!

That's one of the reasons I prefer the name Impulse to Kid Flash, J. Eliot!
Lee, I agree. Hey, that rhymes!
