I've been informed that Crylophosaurus has now been placed into the Dilophosaur group of dinosaurs. I couldn't get a strait answer if it's now thought to look more like Dilophosaurus or not (they only have a single skull that's from behind the nostril back so it's not known if it had the distinctive nasal kink of the group.) This species was found in the Antarctic area, the name means 'frozen crested lizard.'
On another note, Jess has informed me that's I've made the list of American Atheists on Wikipedia. I noted that John Byrne is also on the list. Funny world. I have no idea how to update my Wiki entry ( Steve Miller of Freaks! fame did the original) so I'll have to trick Jess into doing it;)
Best,
Brett

I think anyone can edit it by clicking where it says:
"This profile of a comics artist is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it. "
It lists American Atheist as one of the groups you belong to so you are covered.

Congrats on being one of America's Top Athiests! lol
Love the Cryo, it's definitely one of my fav theropods. I heard many a theory of him being an allosaur, a ceratosaur, and finally a dilphosaur. Makes sense to me, definitely. It reminds me of the Allosaurus pic you did (that I wanted for a tattoo but haven't quite figured a cheap version of yet). :) LOVE IT! I love your dinos. All mine are a side view. Boring. :P
Take care!

Hi Erin,
I don't think it's really a top thing, more I stumbled across this fat and stuck in on wiki;) But now the religious right has a nice list of people to try and 'convert'. I say bring it on;)
I'm glad you like the dinos. I have one that I need to scan based on a new find in Europe, I don't agree with the reconstructions but I based it on their skull:)

Brett
Liked how you kept the Cryo chewing on a rib. Is that a direct reference to the original fossil find... who weirdly enough died from choking on some ribs it was eating? LOL
I like the dilophosaurus connection, but I think this bad boy was a bit too bulky in the skull. The dilophosaurs seemed more sleek >_>
Hi TCH,
Actually I think he's eating a lizard and that's the lizards neck (it might be a small theropod, it's been awhile since I drew this.) I'm not sure I agree with the choked on bones idea. Since only part of the head was found it could just have been deposited that way in a river.
I'm not sure if I completely agree it should look like this, but I did it more for effect:)

Brett
oooOOOOooh, new dino. Sweet. I'll try to patiently wait, but I promise nothing *bounces around*.

Hi Erin,
It's not a new dino, just a new 'skull' of an old one.
Best,
Brett
I mean a new dino drawing. :) Which dino?
Erin,
Torvosaurus, they found a large mixilla (sp) in Europe. With some huge T.rex sized teeth. I won;t say more until I get it scanned;)
Best,
Brett
Awesome! I love Torvo! So little known about this dude. :) Neat that they're finding new material!
Can't wait to see it. Didn't mean to spoil the surprise, lol.
