When I first got into comics at age 13 (a bit late I know) I mainly got Marvel stuff, particularly the X-men and related titles. I didn't read a lot of DC books, they mostly just didn't interest me. But, of the few DC books I read one was the JLI. These were not like regular comics, these were funny as hell. They didn't really do anything but crack jokes and eat Oreos, but the jokes always had me laughing. My 2 favorite characters were Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, so when I was talking to Derek Ruiz the other day he mentioned the new Booster series and about Booster going back in time to fight evil with his old buddy Blue Beetle (now 'dead'.) I just felt like trying my hand at Beetle again so here you go!Best,

Oh, no joking. I loved the JLI. To this day, the JLI remains the only comic to have successfully make me cry (of laughter). Oh, Gold Booster and Blue Bettle. Oh, Green Flame and Ice Maiden. Oh, Mister Miracle. But above all: Guy Gardner.

Don't worry about the names most were right, but it's Booster Gold. I don't know most of the DC universe myself, just some JLI. Flash, Batman and George Perez Wonder Woman stuff. I think the Green Flame changed her name like 5 times anyways;)

I'm not as familiar with DC universe as my dad is, but I know the Wolfman/Perez Titans inside and out. I read the JLI series, but I've yet to read the rest of my Dad's collection (he has thousands of Marvel and DC comics). I know a bit about X-Men. XD
And I feel like an idiot for not mentioning this the first time, but I really dig the Blue Beetle picture! :D

Ah, I got my carrots confused, must be my bad eyesight;) I'll be here all week;)
I'm surprised DC wasn't sued for that. The rabbit looks like the Nestle Quick one with a muscle suit. No plans or time for drawing anything like that now. But I am drawing some revamps of some 90's cartoon characters for a cartoon pitch, I'll let you know how it goes as I can say no more.
