The first thing that stood out to me was the possible implication that as an atheist our lives are empty,we believe in nothing and stand for nothing. Almost kind of a Nihilist
view, but of course that's just my opinion. Of course you could also look at it as saying that atheists don't try to push their views on anyone and don't have any sort of agenda, which would be false as well.

Seems like the meaning depends on your understanding of what atheism actually means. It may be the specific intent to leave any "judgment" up to the reader. Or is that more of an agnostic approach?

Hmm, what would an agnostic be handing out?

(I would probably hand out an Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout and say "This is all you need.")

I don't think it would matter all too much what the pamphlets said as long as you were giving out free alcohol :D I'll pass on the stout though, not a big fan of having to chew my beer. Just pass me a Killian's red

Hmmm... an Oatmeal stout I haven't tried. Sounds tasty.

I like this cartoon:

That's pretty darn funny Steve. Nice one!

I got the initial joke, but could it mean that the Atheists actually have nothing to offer as well? I just thought that was interesting.

heffison,

Ok what's a Stout, besides a comic and paleoartist?

Steve,

I want to hit a botton and LIKE that;) Very funny!

Brett

Wikipedia says "Stout is a dark beer made using roasted malt or barley, hops, water, and yeast. Stouts were traditionally the generic term for the strongest or stoutest porters, typically 7% or 8%, produced by a brewery."

Dark to pitch black, and malty, generally tastier as they warm up a bit. Guinness is too blunt for me. Oatmeal stout often has a slight sweetness to it. Anderson Valley's is the best.

I never trust a person who doesn't drink....>:|

Joking. Genuinely. I just hear that phrase quite a lot regaring teetotallers/ pioneers/ or those who don't drink that often.

More of a judgement on the person who says it rather than the person they direct it at.

There are, sadly, two or more readings to be taken from every image, not just this one. So the double meaning is to be expected.

Both images made me laugh.

LOL! I can't actually drink, alcohol intolerance, not cause I don't want to. Nasty hanover about 30 minutes after drinking half a beer. Started when I was 24. I had 3 good years though;)

Suckiness! So you have to settle for magic mushrooms and snuffing the nitrous out of whipped cream cans?
