100 Quotes Every Geek Should Know

I found this on Scifiwire.

100 Quotes Every Geek Should Know.

Read the comments since there's a whole bunch more there! They did leave some obvious ones out Like 'I'll be back' and 'Use the force Luke' but they might have thought everyone should already know them.

Blogger still won't let me upload anything larger than 100k so until that's fixed no new pages or cover:(

Best,

Brett

Great quotes!

You get any good movies lately.

We watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs-much better than I expected.

District 9- Had no idea what to expect, totally blew my mind. REally interested to see what you think.

and Bill Maher's Religulous. Wow, not much factual stuff in it. Pretty weak even by Maher's standards.

Hey Steve,

I actually watched Cloudy last night! We quite liked it, very fun, made me hungry;) I liked it better than Monsters vs. Aliens, but not as much as Kung-Fu Panda. I was surprised at all the celebrities they got for voices.

I have District 9 but haven't watched it yet. I've been watching Chuck since the new season starts tomorrow. Maybe tonight if Jess feels up to it. I started watching Demons on BBC but I'm not sure if I like it yet. I did watch the last Doctor Who movies, very fun, unfortunately no one reruns them and the DVD are expensive. Hopefully someone will syndicate it.

I don't actually remember much of Religulous. But walking around interviewing people won't give you any real answers but it was funny and there was some stuff that was researched and accurate like the myth comparisons, they might have left out some key differences but that's assuming they only had one other religion around them when they had lots of different cultures to draw from. maybe I'll watch it again when I have some time.

I didn't like the latest Harry Potter movie, WAY to much stuff cut out. Star trek was fun, Terminator Salvation was quite fun, better than #2.

Best,

Brett

They left out so many quotes it not even funny! One glaring example...they quoted a lot of Bruce Campbell but left out things like "Shop smart...Shop S-Mart. "This is my BOOM stick!" and one of my all time faves "Good,Bad...I'm the one with the gun."
Couldn't agree more on the last potter movie, they cut out so much it was barely recognizable. But at least they had the foresight to cut the last book into two movies,so I have high hopes they screw it up.

Man, that's a lot of quotes to try and commit to memory. Maybe I'll just be a Semi-Geek. Wait a minute; isn't that a Dork? I was dissapointed my favorite one-word quote from a movie wasn't included--when Errol Flynn as "Robin Hood" was told he spoke treason, he replied, "Fluently!"....L.B.
