LOL! Funny is Funny!

I happened across this on Yahoo. Before anyone gets all self-righteous this was erected by a church to get people to talk about the Christmas story. Full story here.

Well as I've stated before, just because someone says they belong to a church does not make them a Christian. The goal of Christians should be that people would consider the truth; not just question their current thinking. So a swing and a miss.

I'm not self righteous; I'm the opposite; I'm Christ-righteous. I have very little faith in my own moral leanings, but I have great faith in the righteousness God chooses to give to those who accept it.

and yes God can rap like no other. He throws down a mean beatbox as well.

Oy that was lame Steve, all cool points are being removed as we speak.

The arrogance to think that you alone have chosen the right 'brand' of Christianity is unbelievable. Talk about self righteous. If you worship Christ you are a Christian (unless you also worship that Smith guy as well, then you're a Mormon;).)

You seem to not get that everytime you come up with this morals from god crap you're calling everyone else immoral, which is just not true. Talk about an egocentric religion.

All the raps I hear from god sound like something Kanye West would say, utterly ignorant in his own suckyness;) Oh and he's a gay fish;)

Aww man, not my cool points!
But you are getting closer to understanding what true Christianity.

We are all morally screwed up. I have an immoral bent. So yup, I get I'm calling everyone immoral. I'm counting myself as one of the bad guys.

The Bible isn't made up of groups of good guys and bad guys. It is a book about all bad guys and one good guy, Jesus.

Apparently Jesus also was confused because he too thought that people could claim to be Christians and really not be true followers. He said as much in

Matthew 7:21-23

21-23"Knowing the correct password—saying 'Master, Master,' for instance— isn't going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father wills. I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, 'Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.' And do you know what I am going to say? 'You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don't impress me one bit. You're out of here.'

So if my understanding is wrong and narrow I guess I'm in good company.
